RECTIFIER V-OPE-TM-1(2) SERIES B1

V-OPE-TM-1(2) series B1 Purpose
Rectifiers are intended for cathode protection of underground metal constructions (oil, gas and other purpose pipe lines, communal facilities, tanks, storages etc.) against electrochemical corrosion including in the ground with high aggressive environment and areas with ground currents.

Features
  • Rectifiers V-OPE-TM-1 are designed for outdoor installation, climatic. The modification 1 and V-OPE-TM-2 are designed to be installed indoors or inside the distribution device for cathode protection (UKZV, UKZN etc.), climatic. For the modification 2.
  • Possibility of measurement and maintenance of the total potential.
  • On customer's request additional counter can be installed for calculation of the overall working time of the rectifier.
  • Construction of the rectifiers allows to use them inside the systems completed with the teleautomatic complex.

    Operating conditions
  • Rectifier ensures reliable and stable operation under the following climatic conditions:
    — the upper value of ambient temperature + 45°C;
    — the lower value of ambient temperature - 45°C;
    — the upper value of relative humidity 98% at 25°C.

    Rectifiers
  • The rectifier ensures operation in the following modes:
    - automatic maintenance of protection potential,
    - stabilization of output current,
    - manual regulation of output voltage,
    - unguided rectifier.
  • Provides the voltage output pulsation coefficient not more then 3%.
  • The rectifier is designed for operation under load resistance from 0.1 Rnom and higher, where Ríîì.= Uoutput nom/Ioutput nom.
  • Rectifier's output voltage is Unom and 2Unom (when the coils of the transformer and reactor are switched) when the current and power Inom and 0,5 Inom respectively.
  • The rectifier is able to work at breaking of potential difference metering circuit by transition in output current stabilization mode. Output current level is set by resistor "CURRENT" of the control unit.
  • At the input of the metering circuit the rectifier allows a jamming signal of alternating voltage with frequency of 50 and 100 Hz at up to 10 V of amplitude values.
  • The rectifier has the protection against external and internal short-circuits and voltage overloads.
  • The rectifier is reliably put into operation after short- and long-term disappearances of the power line voltage with automatic turn-on in the latest set operation mode.
  • The rectifier has the device of automatic reclosing (AR) into operation after it has been switched off by the protection system.
  • The rectifier ensures operation at power line voltage becoming as low as 160 V.
  • The rectifier has protection against lightning strokes (both from the power line and of the power line and load with allowable pulse energy of not more than 40 J at pulse duration 8/20 mcs.
  • Additional steady-state deviation of measured potential difference at a change of 1 V in power line voltage under normal climatic conditions is not more than ±0.02%. Additional steady-state deviation of measured potential difference at a change of ambient temperature at rated power line voltage is not more than ± 0.05%/0C.
  • Input circuit resistance of potential difference is not less then 10 MOhm.
  • Provide control of the electric energy consumption by built-in electric energy meter.
  • Provide possibility of long lasting continuous operation without the maintenance service and repair not less then 6 month.
  • Provide the radio noise level on power switch and current clamps not exceeding the values regulated in GOST R 51522-99 (MEK 61326-1-97). The noise level not higher then 60 dBA.

    Construction
  • The rectifiers are designed according to the block principle providing the easy access during maintenance and repair.
  • Protection level of the V-OPE-TM-1 is IP34 and of the V-OPE-TM-1 is IP10 according the GOST 14254-96. The control blocks have the IP44 protection level.
  • Natural air cooling system.
  • V-OPE-TM-1 are provided with the unauthorized access units.
  • For easy uplifting and transportation of the rectifiers there are 4 holes on the upper side of the side frame.
  • Possibility to install rectifier on the flat base with the fixation by 4 bolts and possibility to mount the rectifier to the vertical wall or concrete pole by using the additional frame.
  • Cable connections is realized though special sockets bellow. It is advised to realize the sealing of the sockets with the flexible foam.
  • The contact clamps construction allows to have cable and wire connection both terminated or not.
  • Person protection from electric shock corresponds the protection class of 01 GOST 12.2.007.0-75.
  • Corresponds fire safety requirements according GOST 12.1.004-91.

    Construction of the V-OPE-TM-1(2), V1 series allows the combined operation with the teleautomatic complexes «SupeRTU-4», «UNK-TM», «STN-3000», «Magistral-1», «Magistral-2», «TELUR», «ELSI-2000», PTK «Scat» etc.

    On customer's request the rectifiers can be adopted to an other teleautomatic coplex
