Purpose

The stand is intended for equipment of trass, drainage (at drainage points of cathodic protection) and anode control and measuring diagnostics posts in populated areas, compressor and gas-distribution stations, distribution points.
Features

The stand is installed in populated and industrial areas at the level of asphalt covering. The stand withstands the pressure of motor transport tires.
Principle of operation

The stand is used for measurement of protective (differential and polarized) potential, connection of diagnostic facilities, and monitoring of protected underground metal constructions.
Operating conditions

Stand SKIP-G ensures reliable and stable operation under the following climatic conditions:
- the upper value of ambient temperature + 50 °C;
- the lower value of ambient temperature – 50 °C.
- atmosphere of I and II types.

Climatic Y version of distribution category 1 according to GOST 15150-69.

Construction

Constructively the stand is realized as a cast iron carcass with a cast flap cover. The cover is buried into the carcass providing the erection of the stand at the level of asphalt covering in populated areas. At the bottom of the carcass there is a flange for a better fixation of the stand.

The terminal panel is set inside the carcass. Construction of power terminals ensures reliable connection of wires without a special termination. According to the application, there are several stand modifications differing in the construction of the terminal panel.
