CONTROL AND MEASURING POST STAND SKIP-1, SKIP-2
Purpose
Stand is intended for equipment of trass, drainage (at drainage points of cathodic protection) and anode control and measuring diagnostics posts.
Features
Stand modifications with various combinations of power and measuring terminals are available.
Principle of operation
Stand is used for measurement of protective (differential and polarized) potential, connection of diagnostic facilities, and monitoring of protected underground metal constructions.
Operating conditions
Stand SKIP ensures reliable and stable operation under the following climatic conditions:
- the upper value of ambient temperature + 50 °C;
- the lower value of ambient temperature – 50 °C.
Climatic Y version of distribution category: 1 according to GOST 15150-69.

The unit intended for export additionally meets the requirements RD1601.007-88.
Construction
Constructively stand is realized as a support (section of a steel pipe with a base plate and a panel welded to the pipe section) containing terminal panels with measuring and power terminals. Terminal panels have a removable cover. The cover has two locks and two inclined planes for marking the identification data. Modifications of stands presuppose different combinations of measuring and power terminals, various heights, and the possibility of setting up the unit BDRM.
Construction of measuring and power terminals provides a possibility of connecting cables without a special termination as illustrated on pic.3.
Terminal panels are divided according to operational principle that provides various combinations of power and measuring terminals in stands. On order, stands can be manufactured with a set of power and measuring terminals that differs from the parameters given in Table of modifications. Wires of measuring circuits that are connected to the upper terminal panels do not cover the surfaces of the lower terminal panels.
Stands can be delivered with one-, two-channel diode-resistor units BDRM-10-2-XX-Y1 or BDRM-25-2-XX-Y1 that are to be connected to the terminal panel. The units can be used for joint protection of underground metal constructions or as polarized electric drainages, regulated resistors, and valves to remove deleterious effect of communications with separate protection.
On request, stands can be delivered with a set of measuring and power cable shoes.
On request, height of stand can be changed.
