AVO consists of the electronic block and the remote gauge with a connecting cable. The electronic block includes two unipolar switches, one of which makes management of illumination in a manual mode, by another - in automatic, connected with the module in which the printed-circuit-board of the electronic scheme of management is placed. On the operative panel of the electronic block are placed: the handle of the variable resistor for an establishment of a threshold of operation, the switch of a choice of time of transition in an economic mode of illumination and the indicator of operating modes.
Principles of work

Work of the switch of illumination in an automatic mode is based on change of size of the current proceeding through the photoresistor of the gauge depending on natural light exposure. With approach of twilight resistance of the photoresistor increases, the current decreases, and at achievement of the certain size the controller submits a signal on inclusion of a network of a feed of lamps. With increase in light exposure resistance of the photoresistor decreases, that leads to switching-off of lamps of illumination. In a mode of automatic control of illumination the switch of manual management should be in the switched off condition (in position "0"), and the switch of automatic control by a mode of illumination - in position is included (in position "I").
