Stavropol radioplant Signal was founded in 1971 as an enterprise of military-industrial complex.
For many years our plant has been successfully cooperating with the leading aircraft building companies of Russia, as well as with foreign partners in manufacturing and supplying equipment for airplanes.
We have mastered the manufacture of wide nomenclature of active jamming stations, designed for mounting on aircrafts (airplanes, helicopters, etc.) and ground carriers.
The active jamming station "L 203" which is being manufactured at present is designed for equipping exported airplanes Su-27 SK, Su-27 UBK, Su-30 МКК, MIG-29.
We have developed the manufacture of ground jamming station "Topol-E", designed for radio electronic attack against AEW and guidance radar, mounted on the airplane Е–2С "Hawkeye".
At present JSC Stavropol radioplant Signal actively cooperates with leading scientific research institutes in development and manufacture of new modern EW means.
The plant is equipped with modern high capacity equipment that allows:
— manufacturing parts of irregular shape on modern machining centers of 6th quality class;
— manufacturing boards for microassembly according to thick-film and thin-film technologies;
— manufacturing electronic devices, including the usage of surface mounting technology;
— manufacturing single- and double-side printed circuit board, accuracy grade 4;
— providing quality lacquer, electroplating coating, including usage of powder coating technology;
— manufacturing parts from thermoplastic material on thermoplasts with high accuracy grade.
Since 1991 as a result of conversion the enterprise has been engaged in development and manufacture of general industry purpose products and consumer goods.
In 1993 the radioplant was the first in the country to start mass production of domestic residual current circuit breakers (UZO) which have become widely used all over Russia.
1994 was the beginning of mass production of electronic electric meters. Today we produce more than 50 modifications of electric meters.
JSC Signal also manufactures various modifications of apartment, cottage, floor dashboards, etc. which are equipped with UZO and electric meters, produced at the enterprise.
Our enterprise is one of the leading producers of equipment for cathode protection of pipelines and other metal constructions against corrosion.
The nomenclature of manufactured products is constantly renewed. In 2004 we mastered the production of new products – equipment for digital terrestrial and cable television. This area is considered to be one of the most perspective ones. Due to high quality and reliability, our products have found wide application on the territory of Russia, in near abroad and in foreign countries.
The quality of products and technical parameters are constantly improved and made compliant with the requirements of customers, and such big enterprises of fuel and energy and oil and gas complexes as RAO UES of Russia, OAO Gazprom, JSC Transneft, JSC Rosneft, JSC Lukoil and others are among them.
In 2003 the radioplant Signal got Certificates of conformance in certification systems Military register, GOST R и Intercertifica TUV CERT, confirming the presence and effectiveness of quality management system functioning at our enterprise, its conformity to the requirements of state standards GOST R ISO 9001-2001 (ISO 9001:2000), GOST RV 15.002-2000 and SRPP while designing, developing and manufacturing electronic and electrotechnical devices for household and production and technical purposes, as well as while manufacturing, repairing and warranty servicing of defense equipment.
In 2006 a recertification of the enterprise was successfully carried out in Certification systems GOST R, Intercertifica (TUV) and in facultative certification system Military register.
Besides industrial production, JSC Signal affiliate in Ipatovo deals with grain crops processing and selling. The trade department has been created at the enterprise. A store chain has been developed presenting all the products produced by our plant and other leading Russian manufacturers.
At present there are more than 1 700 employees and workers at the plant.
Great attention is paid to the development of social sphere. A recreation center "Sosnovy Bor" is located at the seaside of the Black sea in Arkhipo-Osipovka township, in a picturesque place, and a recreation center "Mechta" is situated at the storage reservoir Novotroitskoe in Stavropol region. In 2004 a modern sports and fitness complex "Signal" with a gymnasium and sports grounds planned according to international standards started its work. During the year employees and workers of the plant can have a rest in the Caucasus Mountains organized by the enterprise.
Production volumes are constantly increased. All the products are certified and fully compliant to the requirements of Russian standards.
Due to the progress made JSC Stavropol radioplant Signal has been acknowledged more than once the best enterprise in Stavropol and Stavropol region. Today our plant is financially and economically stable and faces the future with confidence.
